An improved numerical interconversion for creep compliance and relaxation modulus
Journal of Applied Polymer Science, 1972AbstractAn imporved method for the numerical evaluation of the convolution integral in the relationship between creep compliance and relaxation modulus is discussed. The better approximation is obtained by the assumption that both functions can be assumed to be linear within a series of increasing time intervals which do not change as the calculation ...

The creep compliance of dental amalgam in the stress range of 20–80 MPa
Journal of Biomedical Materials Research, 1982AbstractThe continuous compressive creep curves of four distinct types of one‐week‐old dental amalgam were monitored for one day on a specially designed mini‐specimen creep apparatus. Creep conditions included three different applied constant stress levels (20, 40, and 80 MPa), and temperatures ranging from 0°C to 60°C.

Relations Between Relaxation Modulus and Creep Compliance in Anisotropic Linear Viscoelasticity
Journal of Elasticity, 2007The results obtained previously for scalar and class \(P\) completely monotone relaxation moduli are extended to arbitrary anisotropy. It is shown for general anisotropic viscoelastic media that, if the relaxation modulus is a locally integrable completely monotone function, then the creep compliance is a Bernstein function and conversely.

Properties of Creep Compliance Functions and Their Relation to Retardation Spectra
CONCREEP 10, 2015This contribution examines how the properties of a viscoelastic model are af- fected by the choice of the creep compliance function and by the properties of the corresponding continuous retardation spectrum. Attention is paid to the phenomenon called divergence of creep curves, which arises for certain types of models but is ques- tionable or even ...

Compliance, relaxation and creep recovery of normal strength concrete.
2009Calculating the long term serviceability of reinforced concrete structures requires an appropriate description of the mechanical properties of concrete. Among the long duration properties of concrete are shrinkage and creep of concrete. At relative humidities less than 96--99% concrete shrinks.
