Hippo pathway at the crossroads of stemness and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dysregulation of the Hippo pathway drives nuclear accumulation of YAP/TAZ, activating stemness‐related transcriptional programs that sustain breast cancer stemness and fuel therapeutic resistance across subtypes, underscoring Hippo signaling as a targetable vulnerability. Figure created and edited with BioRender.com.

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Laboratory Performance Evaluation of CIR-Emulsion and it Comparison Against CIR-Form Test Result from Phase II, Final Report TR-578 Phase III, December 2009

open access: yes, 2009
Currently, no standard mix design procedure is available for CIR-emulsion in Iowa. The CIR-foam mix design process developed during the previous phase is applied for CIR-emulsion mixtures with varying emulsified asphalt contents.

The Progressive Development and Post-failure Behaviour of Deep-seated Landslide Complexes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
The concept of progressive shear surface development remains to be fully understood. This study aims to investigate the mechanisms of progressive shear surface development to failure, and the subsequent post-failure behaviour, of deep-seated landslide ...

Development of rock creep test system considering dynamic-static and ultralow-frequency cyclic loading

open access: yesJournal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering
This paper presents an ultralow-frequency cyclic loading creep test system for rock salt. The system comprises five subsystems: a cyclic load generation system, a triaxial pressure chamber, a pressure and deformation monitoring system, a signal ...

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Energy-based nonlinear damage creep model considering the influence of the concrete creep rate

open access: yesFrontiers in Materials
In order to study the influence of confining pressure on the deformation of concrete, triaxial compression and creep tests under different confining pressures are carried out using a combination of laboratory tests and theoretical analysis.

CD47 promotes mitogen‐activated protein kinase and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition molecular programs to drive prometastatic phenotypes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

The development of finite element software for creep deformation and damage analysis of weldment

open access: yes
This paper presents the development of finite element software for creep deformation and damage analysis of weldment. The development and benchmark test of the software under plane stress, plane strain, axisymmetric, and 3 dimensional cases were reported
