The input parameters in the procedure for calculating the minor movement capacity of the unsignalised intersection are the values of conflict flow, critical haedway and follow-up headway. The conflict flow value is established in exact measuring, on the basis of flow values on approaches and their distribution by driving directions.

Investigating Mixed Logit Analysis of Critical Headways at a Single-Lane Instrumented Roundabout [PDF]
This paper examines 29,403 entering vehicles that rejected two or more headways for a total of 69,123 rejected headways. A detailed series of temporal parameters was established and used to estimate a mixed binary logit model and understand rejection/acceptance decisions.

Calibrating VISSIM roundabout model using a critical gap and follow-up headway approach
Roundabouts have been continuously constructed in the U.S. in recent years, as studies have shown their capability of reducing crash risk and severity when compared with signalized intersections. Despite of the safety benefits offered by roundabouts, operational efficiency is required be analyzed when considering building roundabouts.

Gap Acceptance at Non–Standard Unsignalised Intersections
Non-standard unsignalised intersections are very common in European countries with old street networks. The major road often bends at an angle at the centre of an intersection, which makes the intersection non-standard.

Estimation of critical headway at roundabouts
According to the models which are commonly used in practice, the capacity of roundabouts depends on the value of critical headway. Critical headway size depends on numerous objective factors, primarily on geometric characteristics of the intersection. However, research so far have shown that beside characteristics of the intersection, value of critical
