Crosslinking bei Keratokonus [PDF]
Keratoconus leads to progressive thinning and protrusion of the cornea. Young patients exhibit the highest risk for progression. Corneal crosslinking was introduced in 1998 and is intended to prevent progression of keratoconus. Only a few prospective controlled trials have been published. Six randomised controlled trials have been published.

Crosslinking of agar by diisocyanates
Carbohydrate Polymers, 2018In the present study, crosslinking of agar using diisocyanate (DI) was demonstrated to limit the high water absorption property of agar. In addition, the efficacy of aromatic diisocyanate, DDI (4, 4 diphenyl diisocyanate) and aliphatic diisocyanate, HDI (1, 6 hexamethylene diisocyanate) on crosslinked agar properties was compared.
