Decoding Biomolecular Phase Separation: From Physiological Roles to Pathological Mechanisms and Therapeutic Biomaterials Design

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This review systematically elaborates on the mechanisms underlying physiological regulation and pathological dysregulation of biomolecular phase separation. It also summarizes advances in phase‑separation‑targeted therapeutic strategies and the design of functional biomaterials inspired by this process.

Localized Prostate Cancer Therapy: Tumor Microenvironment‐Activated Spermine Hydrogel With Real‐Time Autonomous Fluorescence Sensing

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
First tumor microenvironment (TME)‐responsive spermine‐loaded hydrogel with autonomous sensing for advanced local therapy of prostate cancer (PCa) is developed. Spermine can be released from the hydrogel to kill the prostate cancer cells specifically under acidic TME.

Novel and bone-targeted agents for CRPC

open access: yesAnnals of Oncology, 2012
Clearly, no neoplasm other than prostate cancer has benefited from so many breakthroughs since the beginning of this decade: the past two years can be considered exceptional due to the number of emerging agents against castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC), which have demonstrated positive outcomes in phase III trials.

Oxidative stress and redox signaling in CRPC progression: therapeutic potential of clinically-tested Nrf2-activators

open access: yes, 2021
Androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) is the mainstay regimen in patients with androgen-dependent prostate cancer (PCa). However, the selection of androgen-independent cancer cells leads to castrate resistant prostate cancer (CRPC). The aggressive phenotype

Development of Neuroendocrine Prostate Cancers by the Ser/Arg Repetitive Matrix 4-Mediated RNA Splicing Network

open access: yesFrontiers in Oncology, 2018
While the use of next-generation androgen receptor pathway inhibition (ARPI) therapy has significantly increased the survival of patients with metastatic prostate adenocarcinoma (AdPC), several groups have reported a treatment-resistant mechanism ...

Fluorescent Colored Passive Radiative Cooling Based on Carbon Dots for Cooling Power Recovery

open access: yesEcoEnergy, EarlyView.
We demonstrate colored passive radiative coolers consisting of a highly reflective porous ceramic base covered by an eco‐friendly luminescent carbon dot‐polymer composite, with two types of carbon dots enabling conversion of either ultraviolet or visible light, respectively.

Peran PDCD4 Serum dan Jaringan Prostat pada Perkembangan Pasien Castrate Resistant Prostate Cancer (CRPC)

open access: yes, 2023

Piperlongumine inhibits migration and proliferation of castration-resistant prostate cancer cells via triggering persistent DNA damage

open access: yesBMC Complementary Medicine and Therapies, 2021
Background Metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) is the leading cause of death among men diagnosed with prostate cancer. Piperlongumine (PL) is a novel potential anticancer agent that has been demonstrated to exhibit anticancer efficacy ...

Global Real‐World Outcomes of Olaparib in Metastatic Castration‐Resistant Prostate Cancer Patients With Homologous Recombination Repair Alterations

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Evidence to guide the treatment for patients with metastatic castration‐resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) and Homologous Recombination Repair (HRR) gene alterations outside of clinical trials remains limited. This was an observational, cohort study, including mCRPC patients with tumor harboring HRR alterations, progressed on a prior androgen ...
