CTC-TTS: LLM-based dual-streaming text-to-speech with CTC alignment
Large-language-model (LLM)-based text-to-speech (TTS) systems can generate natural speech, but most are not designed for low-latency dual-streaming synthesis. High-quality dual-streaming TTS depends on accurate text--speech alignment and well-designed training sequences that balance synthesis quality and latency.

Molecular Assays for the Detection and Characterization of CTCs
Molecular characterization for circulating tumor cells (CTCs) can be used to better understand the biology of metastasis, to improve patient management and help to identify novel targets for biological therapies aimed to prevent metastatic relapse.

Tackling cancer stemness with nanotechnology in the era of precision medicine
Precise customization of nanoparticles (NPs) enables active targeting of cancer stem cells (CSCs), thereby improving drug delivery and therapeutic efficacy. NP‐based probing enhances CSC detection through imaging and liquid biopsy, whereas diverse therapeutic payloads improve therapeutic outcomes.

ABSTRACT The complexity of breast cancer (BC) lung metastasis lies in the capacity of tumour cells to interact efficiently with distant organs to promote colonisation, a process that involves the sophisticated coordination of inherent cellular plasticity and the remodelling of the distant microenvironment.

Lighting up the path to precision oncology: This review comprehensively summarizes the rational design of carbon dots (CDs), elucidating how core size, surface chemistry, and heteroatom doping dictate their luminescence mechanisms. Special emphasis is placed on engineering NIR‐II emissive CDs for deep‐tissue imaging.

CTC-GMM: CTC Guided Modality Matching For Fast and Accurate Streaming Speech Translation
Models for streaming speech translation (ST) can achieve high accuracy and low latency if they're developed with vast amounts of paired audio in the source language and written text in the target language. Yet, these text labels for the target language are often pseudo labels due to the prohibitive cost of manual ST data labeling.

Peptide Marriages: Modular Assembly of Multi‐Agonist Therapeutics
A modular polyethylene glycol (PEG) scaffold enables rapid assembly of dual peptide agonists using strain‐promoted azide–alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC) and copper‐catalysed azide–alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC). Glucagon‐like peptide‐1 (GLP‐1) and amylin agonists were combined with controlled valency, yielding low‐picomolar activity and receptor‐selective ...

Exploring Healthcare Continuity in Pediatric‐Onset Multiple Sclerosis in the United States
ABSTRACT Objective Little is known about shifting from pediatric to adult‐focused multiple sclerosis (MS) care. This study aims to explore transition of care and follow‐up in the US pediatric‐onset MS (POMS) population. Methods Surveys were distributed to 10 sites in the US Network of Pediatric MS Centers (US NPMSC) about transition‐of‐care practices ...

Abstract Background Sporadic venous malformation (VM) is associated with the hyperactivating p.L914F mutation in TIE2, a receptor tyrosine kinase essential for vascular development. This mutation is not found in hereditary VM, suggesting incompatibility with life when expressed during early vascular development.
