Defect properties of CuInSe2 and CuGaSe2

Abstract Using first-principles electronic structure theory, we have calculated defect formation energies and defect transition levels in CuInSe2 and CuGaSe2. We show that (i) it is easy to form Cu vacancies in CuInSe2, and (ii) it is also relatively easy to form cation antisite defects (e.g. InCu) for this ternary compound.

Optička i električna svojstva poluvodičkog spoja CuInSe2 prikazana su u kao mogućnost korištenja tog spoja kao kandidata za nove solarne ćelije. To se posebno odnosi na moguću tehnologiju tankog filma zbog velikog koeficijenta apsorpcije, dobre stabilnosti i relativno velike efikasnosti pretvorbe sunčeve energije u električnu (cca 8%).

The crystal structures of CuInSe2 and CuInTe2

Abstract The crystal structures of two ternary, chalcopyrite-structured semiconductors, CuInSe2 and CuInTe2, have been determined from single crystal X-ray diffraction data. Both compounds crystallise in the tetragonal space group I42d with Z=4, and lattice constants a =6.1944(20) A , c =12.4157(40) A for the telluride and a =5.

Фотолюминесценция монокристаллов CuInSe2

В настоящей работе исследования проводились на монокристаллах CuInSe2, выращенных вертикальным методом Бриджмена. Элементный состав по данным рентгеноспектрального микроанализа с волновой дисперсией оказался близким к идеальной стехиометрии и составил: Cu ~ 25.2, In ~ 24.9 и Se ~ 49.9.
