Characterisation of Thin Films CuIn1-xAlxSe2 Prepared by Selenisation of Magnetron Sputtered Metallic Precursors [PDF]
Thin films of CuIn1-xAlxSe2 have been produced by the selenisation of magnetron sputtered Cu/In/Al precursor layers using elemental selenium and the chemical and physical properties of the layers have been determined for different conditions of synthesis.

Thiol‐free hot injection approach yields quasi‐2D klockmannite CuSe nanocrystals, specifically nanosheets and uniform triangular nanoplatelets. This study reconsiders the klockmannite from the point of view of crystal anisotropy and demonstrates its effect on plasmonic response in the near‐infrared spectral region with the theoretical emergence of ...

Local Ag substitution in diamond‐like Cu2‐xAgxIn2Se4 induces dynamic off‐centering distortions that strongly scatter phonons while preserving high carrier mobility. The resulting interplay between alloy disorder and band structure yields ultralow lattice thermal conductivity and promising thermoelectric performance in this sustainable, tellurium‐free ...

Doping mechanism in pure CuInSe2 [PDF]
We investigate the dopant concentration and majority carrier mobility in epitaxial CuInSe2 thin films for different copper-to-indium ratios and selenium excess during growth. We find that all copper-poor samples are n-type, and that hopping conduction in a shallow donor state plays a significant role for carrier transport.
