In the current investigation, a potent antioxidant film was prepared by incorporating red grape anthocyanin (RGA) into a film made of whey protein isolate and k‐carrageenan. Excessive concentrations of RGA, such as 10%, might lead to the deterioration of the mechanical and barrier properties of the film confirmed by SEM.
