A twice curvature compensated voltage reference with double frequency compensation
Microelectronics Journal, 2020Abstract This paper presents a voltage reference (VR) with low temperature coefficient (TC) and full frequency high power supply rejection ratio (PSRR), the VR is fabricated by 0.18 μm CMOS process. The proposed VR uses different methods to compensate for the temperature curvature of the output voltage twice.

Dynamic Compensation Technique for POF Curvature Sensors
Journal of Lightwave Technology, 2018Polymer optical fibers (POF) can be applied as curvature sensors due to its high strain limits, fracture toughness, and flexibility in bend. However, POFs present viscoelastic behavior, which leads to a phase lag between the stress and strain. The polymer viscoelasticity can be associated to the high hysteresis and the errors that curvature sensors ...

A curvature-compensated bandgap reference with high PSR
2008 IEEE International Conference on Granular Computing, 2008In this paper, a curvature-compensated current mode bandgap reference with high supply rejection(PSR) is presented, which is in a 0.5 um 2P2M n-well mixed signal CMOS technology. Several resistors are added to improve temperature coefficient(TC). Otherwise the supply noise is directly fed into the feedback loop of the bandgap circuit by utilizing a ...

Compensators of Petzval field curvature and astigmatism
Journal of Optical Technology, 2021Optical schemes of aplanatic and afocal compensators of field curvature and astigmatism are considered. A method of their design is proposed and application guidelines are presented. An example of designing a double-lens objective with an extended field and one compensator is presented.

Compensation of curvature effects by illumination
Physics Letters A, 2007Front deformation of initially planar excitation waves can be observed in nonplanar media or in spatially heterogeneously illuminated systems. The deformation of propagating reaction–diffusion waves in either of these systems has been investigated earlier separately.

A CMOS piecewise curvature-compensated voltage reference
Microelectronics Journal, 2009This paper presents a novel approach to the design of a high-precision CMOS voltage reference. The proposed circuit utilizes MOS transistors instead of bipolar transistors to generate positive and negative temperature coefficient (TC) currents summed up to a resistive load to generate low TC reference voltage.

Exponential curvature-compensated BiCMOS bandgap references
IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, 1994An exponential curvature compensation technique for bandgap references (BGR's) which exploits the temperature characteristics of the current gain /spl beta/ of a bipolar transistor is described. This technique requires no additional circuits for the curvature compensation; only a size adjustment of a bias transistor in a conventional first-order ...

Curvature compensated TIA based BGR
2017 4th International Conference on Signal Processing and Integrated Networks (SPIN), 2017In this paper, a transimpedance amplifier based curvature compensated bandgap reference (BGR) is proposed. Detailed analysis of the proposed structure is presented. Functionality of proposed BGR is verified through SPICE simulations using 180nm CMOS technology.

Curvature Sensing And Compensation: A Computer Simulation
SPIE Proceedings, 1989The concept of curvature sensing and compensation in adaptive optics is investigated by means of a computer simulation. Satisfactory correction is observed when the signal from a 13 element sensor is directly applied to a simulated membrane mirror.
