A curvature-compensated CMOS bandgap with negative feedback technique
Microelectronics Journal, 2016This paper propose a novel high-order curvature-corrected CMOS bandgap reference (BGR) utilizing the negative feedback structure. The innovative negative feedback bandgap core not only compensates the exponential nonlinearity of VBE but also improves the power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) and line regulation.

A high-performance bandgap reference with advanced curvature-compensation
2011 9th IEEE International Conference on ASIC, 2011A high-performance bandgap reference (BGR) with segmented compensation is proposed in this paper. In order to realize high-order curvature compensation, a voltage proportional to V be /s is used in lower temperature, and a voltage with more positive TC is added in higher temperature.

Curvature compensated CMOS bandgap with sub 1V supply
Third IEEE International Workshop on Electronic Design, Test and Applications (DELTA'06), 2006We describe a bandgap circuit capable of generating a reference voltage of 0.730V. The circuit is implemented in 0.18/spl mu/m CMOS technology and operates with 0.9 V supply voltage, consuming 5/spl mu/A current. The circuit achieves 7ppm/spl rho/K of temperature coefficient with supply voltage range from 0.9 to 1.5V and temperature range from 0 to 60 ...

Stature and growth compensation for spinal curvature
2008Spinal curvatures alter measured stature and may influence the evaluation of skeletal maturity and growth based on stature measurements. Methods: A dataset of calibrated measurements of vertebral positions of 407 radiographs in the frontal plane, together with clinically measured Cobb angles was used to determine the difference between spinal length ...

Optimal curvature-compensated BiCMOS bandgap reference
ISPA 2001. Proceedings of the 2nd International Symposium on Image and Signal Processing and Analysis. In conjunction with 23rd International Conference on Information Technology Interfaces (IEEE Cat. No.01EX480), 2002A bandgap voltage reference with a circuit providing compensation of the thermal nonlinearity for the base emitter voltage is described. The temperature dependence of V/sub BE/(T) is linearized using, as the bias current, a current which is proportional with the n-th degree of absolute temperature.

Hysteresis compensation technique for POF curvature sensors
SPIE Proceedings, 2017Polymer optical fibers (POF) have higher strain limits, fracture toughness and flexibility in bend if compared to glass optical fibers. These characteristics enable the application of POFs as curvature sensors. However, the polymer is a viscoelastic material, which does not have a constant response with stress or strain.

A novel compensation method for the measurement of radius of curvature
Optics & Laser Technology, 2011Abstract A test method for spherical mirrors with super-long radius of curvature that only one compensator is employed to measure the radii of curvature of both concave and convex mirrors is presented. With this testing system, the surface figure and radius of curvature of spherical mirrors can be measured simultaneously. Using the ABCD matrix method,

Aberration compensation for objective phase curvature in phase holographic microscopy
Optics Letters, 2012In this study, we proposed a simple and fast numerical approach to compensate for aberrations induced by objective phase curvature. This method is based on the extraction of virtual background phase from reconstructed phase values using a line profile, followed by subtraction of the virtual background phase from the reconstructed phase image.

A WIDE SUPPLY RANGE BANDGAP VOLTAGE REFERENCE WITH CURVATURE COMPENSATION
Journal of Circuits, Systems and Computers, 2013For the requirement of power management controller chips, a wide supply range bandgap voltage reference circuit is presented. The preregulated circuit based on the regulation characteristic of zener diode extends the supply range and increases power supply rejection ratio (PSRR). Compensated by the base-emitter voltage (V BE ) linearization technique,
