On area comparison and rigidity involving the scalar curvature [PDF]
In this thesis we study the effects of lower bounds for the curvature of a Riemannian manifold M on the geometry and topology of closed, minimal hypersurfaces.

Submanifolds with curvature normals of constant length and the Gauss map [PDF]
We show that a submanifold with curvature normal of constant length has constant principal curvatures under suitable global hypothesis.

The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Curvature-Mediated Forces on Elastic Inclusions in Fluid Interfaces
Heterogeneous fluid interfaces often include two-dimensional solid domains that mechanically respond to changes in interfacial curvature. While this response is well-characterized for rigid inclusions, the influence of solid-like elasticity remains ...

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

Consensus of Multiagent System in the Sense of Curvature and Torsion
In this paper, the consensus problem is investigated for a distributed multiagent system (MAS), where the consensus is characterized by curvature function and torsion function. According to the Frenet‐Serret formulas, a distributed consensus protocol is designed for the tangent, normal, and binormal unit vectors of trajectory of each agent, and then it

TEXAS FIELD CROPS: ESTIMATION WITH CURVATURE [PDF]
Some implications of theory are easily maintained in econometric estimation, but computational costs of maintaining curvature properties (sufficient for existence of an optimal solution) have often proved prohibitive.

Energy-efficient sensing in wireless sensor networks using compressed sensing [PDF]
Sensing of the application environment is the main purpose of a wireless sensor network. Most existing energy management strategies and compression techniques assume that the sensing operation consumes significantly less energy than radio transmission ...

Matched spatial transcriptomics and single‐nuclei RNA‐seq were generated for anaplastic and BRAFV600E papillary thyroid cancers revealing generic and tumor‐specific states occurring in cancer cells and in the tumor microenvironment. In this context, cancer dedifferentiation mirrored organoid maturation through ordered thyroid marker gain/loss ...

Compressed sensing applied to modeshapes reconstruction [PDF]
Modal analysis classicaly used signals that respect the Shannon/Nyquist theory. Compressive sampling (or Compressed Sampling, CS) is a recent development in digital signal processing that offers the potential of high resolution capture of physical ...
