, 1979 A mild acylation method of steroid alcohols with acyl cyanides is described. The high sensitivity of benzoyl cyanide toward steric conditions in the neighbourhood of the hydroxyl group was made use of for the separation of epimeric hydroxy steroids.

Removal of cyanides in wastewater by supported TiO2-based photocatalysts
