ÉTUDE STRUCTURALE ET COMPARÉE D’UN CONTE IVOIRIEN DE LA PÉDAGOGIE DE LA PEUR ET D’UNE FABLE LAFONTAINIENNE / A COMPARED AND STRUCTURAL STUDY OF A TALE OF EDUCATIONAL METHODS OF FEAR AND OF A FABLE BY LA FONTAINE / STUDIU COMPARATIV ŞI STRUCTURAL AL UNEI POVEŞTI IVORIENE DESPRE PEDAGOGIA FRICII ŞI O FABULĂ DE LA FONTAINE [PDF]
The study shows that oral story more specifically tale and fable bear a certain figure of ideological stamps of the people who bore it. Thus in spite of their difference in form and sometimes from culture these stories can deal with the same theme ...

This study reveals that the small GTPase Rab14 is necessary for human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and plays an essential role in the transport of virions to the trans‐Golgi network (TGN). HPV in the early endosome (EE), which harbors GTP‐bound Rab14, is transported to the TGN through the switch of Rab14 from its GTP‐bound to GDP‐bound form.

Modulation of Homer1 EVH1 domain internal dynamics by putative autism‐associated mutations
The putative autism‐associated M65I and S97L variants of the EVH1 domain of the postsynaptic scaffold protein Homer1 do not exhibit substantial changes in their overall structure or partner binding. Both of them, but especially the M65I variant, show altered internal dynamics relative to the wild‐type domain on the μs‐ms timescale, indicated by the ...

A Comparative Statistical Analysis of Two Brake Emission Test Cycles
Non-exhaust emissions represent a growing share of traffic-related particulate matter and are increasingly addressed by regulatory frameworks. This study presents a comparison of two brake emission test cycles, the California Brake Dynamometer Cycle ...

The physical dimensions and shape of bacterial cells define the surface area available to acquire nutrients and the volume available for synthesizing proteins and DNA. Here, we use computational systems biology to decode the importance of cell geometry as a major determinant of prokaryotic phenotype, including growth rate and metabolic efficiency. This

We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

From mice to humans—divergent strategies for intestinal homeostasis and regeneration
Recent advances such as organoid genome editing, xenotransplantation, imaging, and whole‐genome sequencing have enabled direct studies of human intestinal stem cells (ISCs). These studies reveal species‐specific features, including slower ISC proliferation, distinct injury responses, slower somatic mutation accumulation in humans, and an inverse ...

Phosphoinositides and inositol phosphates as molecular glues
Inositol phosphates (IPs) and phosphoinositides (PIPs) regulate diverse eukaryotic processes. Beyond recruiting signaling proteins or acting as structural cofactors, recent studies suggest they mediate protein–protein interactions as natural molecular glues.

Inositol pyrophosphates are energy‐rich signaling molecules that perform critical functions in cells. Three different families of phosphatases hydrolyze the β phosphate of the inositol pyrophosphate molecules: two have narrow specificities and one is promiscuous.
