The hydroporator platform employs controlled hydrodynamic deformation for efficient mRNA and CRISPR/Cas9 delivery into primary human T cells, enabling allogeneic CAR‐T cell manufacturing. It preserves cell functionality and drives potent gene editing, CAR expression, and tumor cytotoxicity, while feature‐based analysis links these functional outcomes ...

Dimerisation induced formation of the active site and the identification of three metal sites in EAL-phosphodiesterases [PDF]
The bacterial second messenger cyclic di-3′,5′-guanosine monophosphate (c-di-GMP) is a key regulator of bacterial motility and virulence. As high levels of c-di-GMP are associated with the biofilm lifestyle, c-di-GMP hydrolysing phosphodiesterases (PDEs)

Evidence for Cyclic Di-GMP-Mediated Signaling in Bacillus subtilis [PDF]
ABSTRACTCyclic di-GMP (c-di-GMP) is a second messenger that regulates diverse cellular processes in bacteria, including motility, biofilm formation, cell-cell signaling, and host colonization. Studies of c-di-GMP signaling have chiefly focused on Gram-negative bacteria.

We introduce an additively manufactured bioreactor with a perfusion flow system and integrated temperature and pH sensors for skeletal muscle tissue biofabrication. The bioreactor's performance was evaluated by assessing the viability, spreading of the myoblast cells in a printed scaffold, and contraction of the isolated murine musculi interossei ...

Cyclic di-GMP (c-di-GMP), a universal second messenger in bacteria, orchestrates a wide array of essential life processes. Its intracellular dynamics are meticulously regulated by diguanylate cyclases (DGCs) and phosphodiesterases (PDEs), ensuring ...

Diffusible Signal Factor (DSF)-dependent quorum sensing in pathogenic bacteria and its exploitation for disease control [PDF]
Cell-to-cell signals of the Diffusible Signal Factor (DSF) family are cis-2-unsaturated fatty acids of differing chain length and branching pattern. DSF signalling has been described in diverse bacteria to include plant and human pathogens where it acts ...

Chemiluminescent Biosensors for Detection of Second Messenger Cyclic di-GMP [PDF]
Bacteria colonize highly diverse and complex environments, from gastrointestinal tracts to soil and plant surfaces. This colonization process is controlled in part by the intracellular signal cyclic di-GMP, which regulates bacterial motility and biofilm formation.

An autologous whole‐tumor‐cell vaccine (rWTC‐MBTA) is evaluated in murine CNS lymphoma. Subcutaneous vaccination activates dendritic cells, broadens T‐cell priming, and drives lymphocyte trafficking to brain tumors, producing durable tumor control. Longitudinal bioluminescence and adoptive‐transfer assays verify CNS engagement. Combination with anti‐PD‐

The characterization of Escherichia coli CpdB as a recombinantpProtein reveals that, besides having the expected 3´-nucleotidase and 2´,3´-cyclic mononucleotide phosphodiesterase activities, it is also active as cyclic dinucleotide phosphodiesterase [PDF]
Endogenous cyclic diadenylate phosphodiesterase activity was accidentally detected in lysates of Escherichia coli BL21. Since this kind of activity is uncommon in Gram-negative bacteria, its identification was undertaken.

Bacterial second messengers are important for regulating diverse bacterial lifestyles. Cyclic di-GMP (c-di-GMP) is produced by diguanylate cyclase enzymes, named GGDEF proteins, which are widespread across bacteria.
