Activation of cyclin-dependent kinases 4 and 6 (cdk4/6) occurs in the majority of glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) tumors, and represents a promising molecular target for the development of small molecule inhibitors.

The study found that RPL6 is frequently upregulated in HCC tissues with extrahepatic metastasis. Elevated RPL6 bound to and increased the stability of HMGCS1 mRNA, thereby enhancing intracellular cholesterol levels. Subsequently, increased cholesterol promotes cancer metastasis in HCC by stabilizing HIF‐1α protein.

Cyclin-dependent kinase control of motile ciliogenesis
Cycling cells maintain centriole number at precisely two per cell in part by limiting their duplication to S phase under the control of the cell cycle machinery. In contrast, postmitotic multiciliated cells (MCCs) uncouple centriole assembly from cell cycle progression and produce hundreds of centrioles in the absence of DNA replication to serve as ...

A Novel OsMPK6‐OsMADS47‐PPKL1/3 Module Controls Grain Shape and Yield in Rice
OsMADS47 is identified as a key regulator governing rice grain morphology. Phosphorylation‐dependent regulation of its activity directs the development of slender versus round grains, modulating both yield and appearance. This mechanism bridges cellular signaling with transcriptional regulation, establishing a molecular framework for grain optimization.

Progastrin Promotes Colorectal Cancer Stem Cell‐Like Properties via the Receptor PZR
The tumor microenvironment supports colorectal cancer (CRC) progression by maintaining cancer stem cells (CSCs) through progastrin (PG). This study identifies Protein Zero‐Related protein (PZR) as an essential receptor for PG activity, promoting CSC‐like signaling via SHP2/SRC/β‐catenin.
