Cyclodextrin-Functionalized Polypyrrole Particles for the Extraction of Aromatics from Water
We describe the preparation of oil-in-water (o/w) colloidal particles with a polypyrrole (pPy) shell in which cyclodextrin has been incorporated at the oil–water interface via either physical adsorption or reaction with the pPy shell.

Two distinct slip‐link mechanisms – the slide‐ring pulley effect and highly entangled chains – are combined in a water‐rich double network hydrogel, achieving synergistic toughening, near‐complete reversibility, and exceptional friction tear resistance at >$>$91 wt.% water.

This work explores the interactions between the oxazine dye ATTO655 and two macrocyclic hosts using optical (single‑molecule) spectroscopy. Although ATTO655 forms a classical inclusion complex with cucurbit[8]uril (CB8), its interaction with p‑sulfonatocalix[4]arene (sCX4) leads to the formation of dim exclusion complexes.

Cyclodextrin-Assisted Two-Component Sonogel for Visual Humidity Sensing
In this work, two naphthalimide-based compounds, 1a and 1b, have been designed and synthesized. Both compounds can form stable two-component gels in n-propanol or n-butanol upon addition of α-cyclodextrin (α-CD) followed by sonication at room temperature.

Oligopeptides/DNA Coacervate Droplets as Macromolecular Delivery Microcarriers
Oligopeptide–DNA coacervates formed via liquid–liquid phase separation serve as programmable carriers for macromolecular cargos, entering cells through lipid raft–associated pathways and subsequently undergoing enzyme triggered intracellular disassembly driven by DNA degradation processes, thereby enabling efficient, controlled, and spatially defined ...

Full androgen deprivation (FAD) induces paracrine cholesterol in prostate cancer that drives the polarization of cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) and subsequent elevated matrix stiffness. Matrix stiffness in turn potentiates tumor cell survival under FAD pressure via dual mechanotransductive activation of the IRE1α‐XBP1s stress‐response axis ...
