COMPOSITION AND STRUCTURE OF RESIN COMPONENTS OF LIGHT OIL AND HEAVY OILS
The relevance of the work is caused by the need to gather and summarize the information on composition and structure of resin components of oils of different chemical nature, since the structural characteristics of resins have a significant impact on the

The Behavior of Cyclohexane Confined in Slit Carbon Nanopore [PDF]
It is well known that confining a liquid into a pore strongly alters the liquid behavior. Investigations of the effect of confinement are of great importance for many scientific and technological applications. Here we present a molecular dynamics study of the behavior of cyclohexane confined in carbon slit pores.

This study introduces a multimodal nonlinear microscopy approach using upconverting nanoparticles (UCNPs) under continuous‐wave excitation. The UCNPs exhibit high‐order nonlinear optical responses, enabling deep‐tissue 3D imaging, video‐rate wide‐field imaging, and depth‐selective photomodulation.

Surface topographical deformation is enhanced in liquid crystal polymer/oligomer network coatings by integrating nonreactive liquid crystal 5CB as a plasticizer, which facilitates the creation of dynamic polymer‐based solid optical devices. Abstract Surfaces with dynamic topographies play a pivotal role in modern technology by providing adaptable ...

Bond Energy Sums in Benzene, Cyclohexatriene and Cyclohexane Prove Resonance Unnecessary [PDF]
The recent new structure of benzene shows that it consists of three C atoms of radii as in graphite alternating with three C atoms with double bond radii. This is different from the hypothetical cyclohexatriene (Kekule structure) involving alternate double and single bonds. It was shown that the difference in the bond energy sum of the atomic structure

Bridging Heterogeneity Dictates the Microstructure and Yielding Response of Polymer-Linked Emulsions [PDF]
Soft materials possessing tunable rheological properties are desirable in applications ranging from 3D printing to biological scaffolds. Here, we use a telechelic, triblock copolymer polystyrene-b-poly(ethylene oxide)-b-polystyrene (SEOS) to form elastic networks of polymer-linked droplets in cyclohexane-in-water emulsions. The SEOS endblocks partition

The Impact of Donor‐Orientation on the Emission Properties of Chlorinated Trityl Radicals
Chlorinated trityl radicals with electron‐donating groups enable efficient red emission for optoelectronics. Donor orientation and steric constraints regulate vibronic coupling, influencing luminescence. A novel trityl derivative with restricted donor alignment minimizes non‐radiative decay, enhancing quantum yield.

The autoignition of cyclopentane and cyclohexane in a shock tube [PDF]
Ignition delay times of cyclohexane-oxygen-argon and cyclopentane-oxygen-argon mixtures have been measured in a shock tube, the onset of ignition being detected by OH radical emission. Mixtures contained 0.5 or 1 % of hydrocarbon for equivalence ratios ranging from 0.5 to 2.

Curcuminoid boron difluoride dyes containing triphenylamine units are prepared and their photophysical and electrochemical properties are investigated. These new light‐emitting dyes are used in organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs) emitting at 800 nm with 1% external quantum efficiency, and show low threshold amplified spontaneous emission in thin ...

Oxidative Coupling of ?,? - Di(cyclopentadienyl)alkyl-diides
The CuII-induced oxidative coupling of ?,?-di(cyclopentadienyl)alkyl-diides 6 (n = 2 to 5) – as well as of 1,1,2,2-tetramethyl derivatives 10 and 13 of 6a (n = 2) – has been investigated in view of pertinent questions concerning the 'coupling ...
