Metal‐Free Electrophilic Borylative Cyclizations of Alkynes
Metal‐free borylative cyclizations based on electrophilic alkyne activation by boron Lewis acids provide efficient access to borylated hetero‐ and carbocycles. Early studies using B(C6F5)3 displayed limited scope and application, whereas recent ClBcat‐ and BCl3‐based methods enable mild CB and CC/CX bond formation for the synthesis of cycles ...

Phakopsora pachyrhizi in Paraguay showed diverse resistance to DMI, SDHI, and QoI fungicides at both regional and intra‐field levels, likely driven by target mutation genes. Abstract BACKGROUND Phakopsora pachyrhizi, the causative agent of Asian soybean rust, poses a major threat to soybean production in South America. The rising incidence of fungicide

Light‐Induced Reactions of Small‐Membered Cyclic Carbonyl Compounds
This review highlights recent advances in the synthesis and photochemical reactivity of cyclopropenone and cyclobutenedione. These compounds undergo photolysis upon direct excitation, and in some cases, through indirect excitation by photocatalysts. The resulting photogenerated species exhibit unique reactivity profiles that are strongly influenced by ...

Alpha‐Ester Aryl Diazirines: Low‐Temperature Carbene Progenitors for Materials Applications
A synthetic route to α‐ester aryl diazirines is established. The products are shown to have low activation temperatures, and to form stabilized singlet carbenes, resulting in high‐yielding C–H insertion to unactivated aliphatic bonds. Applications in materials science and tissue adhesion are proposed.

SYNTHESIS, LSD1 INHIBITORY ACTIVITY, AND LSD1 BINDING MODEL OF OPTICALLY PURE LYSINE-PCPA CONJUGATES
Compounds that inhibit the catalytic function of lysine-specific demethylase 1 (LSD1) are interesting as therapeutic agents. Recently, we identified three lysine-phenylcyclopropylamine conjugates, NCD18, NCD25, and NCD41, which are potent LSD1 ...
