Main‐chain polyfullerenes: Taking fullerene to the next dimension
This short review appraises main‐chain polyfullerenes. Their slow development over 30 years has suddenly boomed with a rapid growth due to exciting developments in solar energy. Abstract This mini‐review gives an overview of the development, chemistry, properties and applications of main‐chain polyfullerenes.

The continuing significance of chiral agrochemicals
In the time frame 2018–2023, around 43% of the 35 chiral agrochemicals introduced to the market (herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, acaricides, and nematicides) contain one or more stereogenic centers in the molecule, and almost 69% of them have been marketed as racemic mixtures of enantiomers or stereoisomers.

Understanding structure–property relationships of main chain cyclopropane in linear polyesters [PDF]
Rigid ring structures have gained increasing interest in the polymer materials community as an effective means to manipulate bulk properties. Despite this, little work has focussed on the smallest ring: cyclopropane.

Quantitative Synthesis of Pt-Si-C Cyclopropane and its Unusual Complexation with Benzene
In this paper, we report the quantitative synthesis of the cyclopropane-type platinum-silene complex and its unusual interaction with benzene in the solid state, revealed by X-ray crystallography. Thus, three platinum complexes "dock" on hydrogens of one

Zwitterion from a Cyclopropane with Geminal Donor and Acceptor Groups
2,2-Dimethoxy-3,3-dicyanospiro[cyclopropane-1,9‘-[9H]fluorene] reacted fast with methanol to afford 9-trimethoxymethyl-9-dicyanomethyl-9H-fluorene. Reaction with benzaldehydes also gave products of cyclopropane ring opening.

ABSTRACT Endogenous H2O2 participated in the ethylene‐dependent ripening and senescence process of horticultural fruit as a secondary messenger; however, the molecular mechanism beneath such a phenomenon has not been fully clarified until recently. By a conjoint analysis of metabolite, enzyme activities, gene expression profiles in AsA‐GSH cycle of ...

Laminar burning velocities of cyclopropane flames
Cyclopropane, c-C3H6, the simplest cycloalkane, is seldom included in detailed kinetic mechanisms for hydrocarbons, though it may exhibit unusual kinetic features yet to be analysed due to a lack of studies of its combustion characteristics. In this work,
