Chemical Bond‐Orchestrated Energy Depletion to Augment Lung Cancer Chemo‐Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 61, 3 November 2026.
This study grafted dichloroacetic acid (DCA) into perylenediimide (PDI) skeleton via ionic or covalent bond to create novel metabolic agent PDIC‐AC and PDIC‐NAC, explicitly elaborated the underlying energy metabolism and therapeutic mechanism, and developed a promising strategy for energy metabolism‐targeting chemo‐immunotherapy by chemical bond ...

An Immune‐Metabolic Signature Reveals Prognostic Stratification and Tumor Microenvironment Features in Breast Cancer

open access: yesCancer Medicine, Volume 15, Issue 11, November 2026.
This study developed and validated an 11‐gene immune‐metabolic riskScore that independently stratifies overall survival in breast cancer across multiple public and institutional cohorts. It further reveals distinct stromal–immune states, CAF‐related programs, and potential immunotherapy responsiveness, supporting its prognostic and translational value.

ArcDFI: Attention regularization guided by CYP450 interactions for predicting drug-food interactions.

open access: yesPLoS Computational Biology
CYP450 isoenzymes are known to be deeply involved in the formation of drug-food interactions (DFI). Previously introduced computational approaches for predicting DFIs do not take drug-CYP450 interactions (DCI) into account and have limited ...

Quinoxaline–Triazole Hybrids: Exploring the Impact of Substituent Architecture on Cytotoxic Potency and Receptor Interaction

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, Volume 23, Issue 11, November 2026.
A series of title compounds was synthesized, with 6e and 6k exhibiting the lowest IC50 values against MCF‐7, HeLa, and HepG2 cancer cell lines. Molecular docking and dynamics revealed strong binding to the adenosine A1 receptor (ΔG = –9.02 and –9.24 kcal/mol).

Biosynthetic Pathways and Regulation of Antibacterial Compounds From Endophytic Fungi: From Chemistry to Genomics and Biotechnology

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, Volume 23, Issue 11, November 2026.
Endophytic fungi encode abundant cryptic biosynthetic gene clusters that remain largely silent under conventional cultivation. This review highlights how genome mining, multi‐omics, and cluster activation strategies bridge the BGC‐to‐metabolite gap, enabling the discovery of structurally diverse antibacterial natural products with activity against ...

Aflatoxin B1 Exacerbates Ketogenic Diet‐Induced Hepatic Oxidative Stress and Glucose and Lipid Metabolic Disturbances in Mice

open access: yesFood Frontiers, Volume 7, Issue 6, November 2026.
AFB1 exposure aggravates KD‐associated hepatic oxidative stress, inflammation, and glucose and lipid metabolic disturbances in mice. These effects are accompanied by dysregulation of AMPK, mTOR, and PPAR‐γ signaling and extensive hepatic metabolic reprogramming. ABSTRACT Aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) is a widespread mycotoxin with severe hepatotoxicity.
