[ANTIOXIDANT AND CYTOPROTECTOR PROPERTIES OF GENISTEIN - ISOFLAVONE WITH ESTROGENIC ACTIVITY.]

Eksperimental'naia i klinicheskaia farmakologiia, 2018
Phytoestrogen genistein can exhibit cytoprotective and antioxidant properties, providing chemopreventive action, and produce cytotoxic effects on some tu- mors. In this work, the cytotoxic, cytoprotective, and antioxidant properties of genistein have been studied on model tumor cells (human cervical cancer HeLa cells) and normal cells (rat dermal ...

Melatonin as a Chronobiotic and Cytoprotector in Non-communicable Diseases: More than an Antioxidant

A circadian disruption, manifested by disturbed sleep and low-grade inflammation, is commonly seen in noncommunicable diseases (NCDs). Cardiovascular, respiratory and renal disorders, diabetes and the metabolic syndrome, cancer, and neurodegenerative diseases are among the most common NCDs prevalent in today's 24-h/7 days Society. The decline in plasma

Possibilities of using cytoprotectors in complex therapy of chronic coronary heart disease

Russian Journal of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery
The chronic form of coronary heart disease (CHD) is one of the most common types of cardiovascular pathology in the Russian Federation. The main causes of myocardial ischemia are a decrease in coronary reserve, as well as a decrease in coronary blood flow due to atherosclerotic stenosis.

[Myocardial cytoprotectors, a reserve therapeutic modality for patients with stable angina of effort].

Klinicheskaia meditsina, 2011
The study included 1418 patients with FC I-IV stable angina of effort (42.4% men and 57.6% women, mean age 74.6 +/- 1.2 years). The possibility to supplement standard therapy with myocardial cytoprotectors (trimetasidin, mexidol, qudesan) was estimated in 4 groups of patients from the severity of pain syndrome, chronic cardiac insufficiency, and heart ...

ASTHENIC POST-COVID-19 SYNDROME: CLINICAL EFFICACY OF CYTOPROTECTORS

Vestnik SurGU. Meditsina
The study aims to assess the mechanism and efficacy of cytoprotectors as a supplementary therapy for asthenia based on a literature review. The study discusses the cardioprotective effect of exogenous phosphocreatine and meldonium efficacy, their possible role following the COVID-19 infection, especially in concomitant cardiac pathology, post-COVID-19 ...

[Results of analysis of clinical effectiveness of cytoprotectors used in therapy of widespread forms of psoriasis].

Klinicheskaia meditsina, 2015
The authors report comparative analysis of the efficacy of cytoprotectors and basal therapy used to treat widespread forms of psoriasis. Combination of both modalities including remaxol and ademetionine increases the effectiveness of the treatment by 23% as appears from the decrease of PASI of 89.6% patients from 23.6 +/- 2.2 to 5.7 +/- 2.2 scores.

[Experimental study of cytoprotector effect of succinate-containing drugs on functional activity of liver].

Eksperimental'naia i klinicheskaia farmakologiia, 2010
Hepatoprotective effect of metabolism correctors has been studied on the model of experimental viral and toxic damage of the liver. Reamberin-based substrate compositions (cytoflavin and remaxol) exhibit antihypoxic effect, antioxidant activity, and cytoprotective action on the background of metabolic effect.
