SSCP analysis of pig mitochondrial DNA D‐loop region polymorphism

Animal Genetics, 1995
SummaryThe sequence polymorphism that occurs in the mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) displacement (D)‐loop region is useful as a cytoplasmic DNA marker. We cloned the mtDNA D‐loop regions of five breeds of pig by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and determined their sequences.

MtDNA D-loop variability in northern native breed horses

Horse breeding and equestrian sports, 2023

Mitochondrial D-Loop and Coding Sequence Analysis Using Pyrosequencing

2004
In forensic casework analysis, mitochondrial deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) often is used when the evidence material contains scarce amounts of DNA. Here, a mitochondrial DNA typing system for D-loop and coding region analysis based on pyrosequencing is described.

Sequence polymorphisms of mitochondrial D-loop and hepatocellular carcinoma outcome

Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications, 2011
Accumulation of mutations and single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in the displacement loop (D-loop) of mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) might be associated with cancer risk and disease outcome. We investigated the prediction power of D-loop SNPs in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patients.

Establishing the mitochondrial DNA D‐loop structure of Columba livia

ELECTROPHORESIS, 2009
AbstractThe complete mitochondrial DNA D‐loop structure of pigeon (Columba livia) was established in this study. A strategy of amplifying three partial fragments of the D‐loop and then combing the three fragments to cover the full length of the D‐loop was adopted.

Active versus passive PI(D) loop monitoring

IEE Seminar on Control Loop Assessment and Diagnosis, 2005
The argument is made for the use of active monitoring techniques alongside the conventional passive methods in the assessment of SISO control loops. By using a probing sinewave together with phase and gain estimators to detect changes in the frequency response, a performance index can be derived that compares favourably in sharpness to the popular ...

D-Looped Transposition of the Great Arteries

2018
Dextro- or D-looped transposition of the great arteries (D-TGA) has a reported birth incidence of 0.3/1000 patients. It is the most common cause of cyanosis in newborns [1, 2]. Whereas overall survival of patients with the Mustard or Senning atrial switch procedure is 75% at 25 years, the arterial switch procedure is now the standard of care in infancy.

Desain Primer D-loop dan Karakterisasi D-Loop Serta Gen Cyt b Trenggiling (Manis javanica Desmarest, 1822) Populasi Sumatra Barat [PDF]

open access: possible, 2023
