Validation of helical symmetry parameters in the EMDB

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section D, Volume 81, Issue 10, Page 527-534, October 2025.
This article reports a systematic validation of the consistency between the deposited helical parameters and the density maps of helical structures in the EMDB. Multiple parameter errors were identified and corrected.Helical symmetry is a structural feature of many biological assemblies, including cytoskeletons, viruses and pathological amyloid fibrils.

TARGET MOTAD FOR RISK LOVERS [PDF]

open access: yes
Although risk analyses of discrete alternatives often identify at least one efficient set for persons who prefer risk, preference for risk is usually ignored when the decision variables are continuous.

Search for $C=+$ charmonium and XYZ states in $e^+e^-\to \gamma+ H$ at BESIII

open access: yes, 2013
Within the framework of nonrelativistic quantum chromodynamics, we study the production of $C=+$ charmonium states $H$ in $e^+e^-\to \gamma~+~H$ at BESIII with $H=\eta_c(nS)$ (n=1, 2, 3, and 4), $\chi_{cJ}(nP)$ (n=1, 2, and 3), and $^1D_2(nD)$ (n=1 and 2)

Stability of spin-0 graviton and strong coupling in Horava-Lifshitz theory of gravity

open access: yes, 2011
In this paper, we consider two different issues, stability and strong coupling, raised lately in the newly-proposed Horava-Lifshitz (HL) theory of quantum gravity with projectability condition.

A Revisit to Top Quark Forward-Backward Asymmetry

open access: yes, 2011
We analyze various models for the top quark forward-backward asymmetry ($A^t_{FB}$) at the Tevatron, using the latest CDF measurements on different $A^t_{FB}$s and the total cross section. The axigluon model in Ref.

Corporate cybersecurity risk and data breaches: A systematic review of empirical research

open access: yesAustralian Journal of Management
Cybersecurity constitutes a major concern for corporations. Given the disciplinary barriers that fragment existing research on cybersecurity, we conduct a systemic review of 203 empirical studies on the determinants and consequences of corporate ...

Learning by Doing, Risk Aversion and Use of Risk Management Strategies [PDF]

open access: yes
Using a national survey, double hurdle models are estimated to examine the impact of farmers’ risk attitude on use of production and marketing contracts. Risk averse farmers are less likely to use contracts but risk attitude does not have any significant

Transverse Momentum Dependent Partonic Distribution and Fragmentation Functions

open access: yes, 2011
Our knowledge on the three-dimensional momentum structure of hadrons is encoded in the Transverse Momentum Dependent partonic distribution and fragmentation functions (TMDs). A brief and updated review of the TMDs and of the processes in which they might
