BrECADD in three days: Implementation of a condensed intensive first‐line regimen in Hodgkin lymphoma

BrECADD can be delivered over 3 days instead of four, reducing intravenous treatment days by 25% without compromising dose intensity. Among 30 patients with advanced‐stage Hodgkin lymphoma, no unexpected toxicity was observed; there were no early discontinuations, and 1‐year progression‐free and overall survival were both 100%.

Treatment with BRAF inhibitor plus MEK inhibitor is currently used in BRAF‐mutated various malignancies except colorectal cancer, and treatments with BRAF and/or MEK inhibitors and anti‐EGFR antibody are used in BRAF‐mutated colorectal cancer. Despite recent advances in BRAF‐targeted therapies, their efficacy is still limited.

Summary Background: Brentuximab vedotin (BV) is a targeted therapy for CD30‐expressing lymphomas, including Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) and cutaneous T‐cell lymphoma (CTCL). While peripheral neuropathy is the most common adverse event, BV‐induced skin rashes are less frequent and not well characterized.

Historically, administration of dacarbazine to sarcoma patients was limited by frequent treat-ment-related nausea/vomiting and neutropenia. These toxicities are now largely preventable with contemporary antiemetics and growth factor support.

Cavitary Pulmonary Adenocarcinoma in a Young Adult With a History of Treated Hodgkin Lymphoma: A Case Report

ABSTRACT Cavitary lung lesions are commonly attributed to infection; however, malignancy should remain a diagnostic consideration. We report a 30‐year‐old non‐smoking man with a history of treated Hodgkin lymphoma who presented with a cavitary pulmonary adenocarcinoma. This case highlights the importance of considering rare malignant causes.
