A Nanoindentation Study of Attenuation in Geological Materials
The dissipation of elastic strain energy, or attenuation, in Earth materials contributes to a range of geophysical phenomena, such as the damping of seismic waves and tidal heating of planetary bodies. We present a new method for measuring attenuation in

Cross‐Scale Hierarchical Targeted Delivery System Based on Small‐Scale Magnetic Robots
This article reviews a cross‐scale hierarchical targeted delivery system that integrates magnetic continuum robots and magnetic microrobots. By combining rapid long‐range navigation with precise microscale targeting, the system overcomes key limitations of single‐scale approaches.

Attenuation correction of myocardial perfusion scintigraphy images without transmission scanning [PDF]
Attenuation correction is essential for reliable interpretation of emission tomography; however the use of transmission measurements to generate attenuation maps is limited by availability of equipment and potential mismatches between the transmission ...

Attenuation of Lyman-alpha emission by dust in damped Lyman-alpha systems
We derive relations between the Lyα surface brightness, star formation rate, and abundance of dust in damped Lyα absorption systems. These are idealized as plane-parallel objects in which the sources of Lyα photons are either distributed throughout the gas or confined to a thin, central sheet.

Toward Mechanical Intelligence in Robotics
Robots can use their physical bodies to perform functions usually assigned to electronic sensors and controllers. This perspective defines mechanical intelligence through three core operations: filtering inputs, routing mechanical signals, and switching between states.

Innate Immunocompetent hiPSC‐Derived Neurospheroids Capture Early CNS Responses to rAAV
Knowledge of human CNS immune responses to AAV‐based gene therapies remains limited due to the lack of immune‐competent human models. Here, a hiPSC‐derived 3D neuroimmune platform integrating neurospheroids and microglia is established using stirred‐tank bioreactors.

This study reveals that NF‐κB1‐driven TRAIP upregulation in ALD correlates with disease severity. Mechanistically, TRAIP directly binds β‐catenin via its CC domain and promotes its K48‐linked ubiquitination and degradation, which is independent of the GSK3β/β‐TrCP pathway.

Atomic Tuning of Metal‐Support Interactions for Pathway‐Selective CO2 Photoreduction on TiO2
Single‐atom Fe and Cu catalysts anchored on TiO2 steer photocatalytic CO2 reduction toward distinct pathways. Fe sites favor rapid *CO desorption and selective CO formation, whereas Cu sites stabilize *CHO intermediates, enabling deep reduction and C─C coupling. Combined spectroscopy and DFT calculations reveal how metal–support interactions and oxygen
