The SPHINX public data release
Context. Low-ionisation state (LIS) metal absorption lines, such as Si II λ1526, are widely used to trace the properties and dynamics of the interstellar medium (ISM) in galaxies.

Possible combinations of early and late time cosmologies through BAO scales
The theoretical scenarios of early universe and late time accelerated expansion constitute an open problem in cosmology. Relative Baryon Acoustic Oscillation (BAO) scales measured by 6dFGS, $$\mathrm SDSS+2dFGRS$$ S D S S + 2 d F G R S , BOSS DR11 Ly ...

Early‐life exposure to a high‐fat diet altered intact Achilles tendons in rat offspring, making them thinner, stiffer, and molecularly distinct even without injury. These findings suggest that developmental high‐fat diet exposure may impair tendon quality and increase susceptibility to mechanical overload or tendon injury later in life.

Extremely ultraviolet-bright starbursts at the end of cosmic reionization
We present a study of 27 very UV-bright (−22.0 ≲ MUV ≲ −24.4) star-forming galaxies at z ∼ 6 identified in the Subaru High-z Exploration of Low-Luminosity Quasars (SHELLQs) survey.

Francesco Petrarca and the Parameters of Historical Research
Although scholars in the first two generations of humanism wrote the histories drawing heavily on ancient Roman sources, Petrarca was the first humanist historian to focuses on the history of ancient Roma.

A yeast model of 5‐oxoproline accumulation reveals a general toleration to 5‐oxoproline
Using a yeast model, we show that even high accumulation of 5‐oxoproline causes only mild cellular stress and does not trigger oxidative stress. Instead, cells adapt by activating efflux pumps and diverse protective pathways, suggesting that previously proposed harmful effects of 5‐oxoproline may arise from indirect metabolic imbalances rather than the

The progenitors of present-day galaxy clusters offer crucial insight into how galaxies and large-scale structure co-evolve in the early Universe. We present JWST/NIRCam grism spectroscopy of the photometrically identified z = 7.66 protocluster core in ...

Time‐restricted feeding (TRF) in mice increased liver fatty acid oxidation and decreased fatty acid biosynthesis. These alterations persisted when TRF was discontinued and the host was infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Pre‐exposure to TRF did not alter tissue (lung and spleen) mycobacterial burden but significantly reduced CD3+ T cells in lungs

Weighing gas-rich starless halos: Dark matter parameter inference based on gas distributions
Context. Reionization-limited H I clouds (RELHICs) are starless dark matter halos that retain a significant neutral hydrogen (H I) reservoir. The gas resides in near hydrostatic equilibrium within the dark matter potential and in thermal equilibrium with

In a murine model of myocardial ischemia and reperfusion (MI/R), the CD36 azapeptide ligand MPE‐298 reduces cardiac injury and transiently lowers left ventricular long‐chain fatty acids (LCFAs) accumulation 3 h after reperfusion, accompanied by a decrease of oxidative stress and inflammation‐associated genes' expression in the heart and adipose tissue.
