AGMIAL: implementing an annotation strategy for prokaryote genomes as a distributed system [PDF]
We have implemented a genome annotation system for prokaryotes called AGMIAL. Our approach embodies a number of key principles. First, expert manual annotators are seen as a critical component of the overall system; user interfaces were cyclically ...

Introduction on Several Popular Nucleic Acids Databases
Nucleic acids are major biological molecules essential for life, and everyday, there are large number of nucleic acids sequences that are released and searched. Now, many nucleic acids databases were used to assembly and distribute structural information related nucleic acids on the internet.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC)‐derived extracellular vesicles (EVs) enrich the metabolic enzyme ATP‐citrate lyase (ACLY). EV‐transferred ACLY enhances palmitate biosynthesis, increases the S‐palmitoylation and stability of multiple immune checkpoint proteins, augments the cellular immunosuppressive activity, and ultimately accelerates the malignant ...

Bacterial Outer Membrane Vesicles in Potentiating Cancer Vaccines: Progress and Prospects
Bacterial outer membrane vesicles (OMVs) have emerged as versatile platforms for cancer vaccine development owing to their intrinsic immunostimulatory properties and high engineering flexibility. This review summarizes OMV biology, immune mechanisms, and engineering strategies that enhance vaccine efficacy, discusses key translational challenges, and ...

DNA Replication Errors Drive Genome‐Wide Small Inverted Triplication Dynamics
This study provides insight into the dynamic equilibrium mechanism of a novel structural variant, small inverted triplication (SIT), which is generated by misalignment of the 3’ flap generated under DNA replication stress with palindromic sequence. Alternatively, the end sequence may fold back on itself to form an inverted fragment.

CoSMIC: A hybrid approach for large-scale, high-resolution microbial profiling of novel niches.
Standard microbial profiling based on 16S rRNA (16S) sequencing suffers from a lack of primer universality, primer biases, and often yields low resolution.

Prostate cancer is immunologically ‘cold’, with scarce, dysfunctional type 1 conventional dendritic cells (cDC1s) that limit T cell priming. We introduce an aptamer‐targeted liposomedelivering FMS‐like tyrosine kinase 3 ligand (Flt3L) and chlorin e6 (Ce6). Ultrasound induces antigen release and cDC1s recruitment, creating an in situ cDC1 vaccine.
