Identification of differential transcripts in Pyrenophora graminea and P.teres by DDRT-PCR

2000
We used non-radioactive DDRT-PCR to screen molecular variants at expression level in P.graminea and P.teres, grown in vitro with glucose or plant cell walls as sugar supplies. A number of differential transcripts were identified between the two species, either constitutive species specific or induced by growth conditions.

[Identification of the related gene of mouse tolerant to exposure to perfluoroisobutylene by DDRT-PCR].

Wei sheng yan jiu = Journal of hygiene research, 2006
The mice surviving acute exposure to low dose of perfluoroisobutylene (PFIB) could tolerant to lethal dose of PFIB. Discovering the gene related with the tolerance would be significant to find preventive agents for PFIB.By static exposure to PFIB for 3 times, the survival animals could tolerate to lethal dose of PFIB.

The Use of Differential mRNA Display (DDRT-PCR) to Identify Genes Differentially Expressed in Normal and Diseased Vascular Cells

2003
In 1992 a new approach for identifying differentially expressed genes was described by Liang and Pardee (1). Their method allowed the simultaneous differential display of mRNA from two or more cell types by means of the polymerase chain reaction (PCR). In a subsequent study demonstrating the technique Bauer, et al.

[A variant of DDRT-PCR using anchored mini-exon primers for identification of differentially expressed sequences in Leishmania infantum].

Archives de l'Institut Pasteur de Tunis, 2009
Leishmania infantum (L.i) is responsible for visceral (VL) or cutaneous (CL) leishmaniasis. Previous studies done in Honduras by differential display reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (DDRT-PCR) failed to demonstrate differences in expression profiles among L. infantum VL and CL parasites.

Identification and isolation by DDRT-PCR of genes differentially expressed by H.capsulatum during macrophages infection.

1998
Establishment of infection and disease implies modifications in the genetic programmes of the cell systems that are involved and the differential expression of genes in both parasite and host. In order to identify and isolate relevant genes of the fungus, Histoplasma capsulatum, in which expression is specifically induced during its interaction with ...

[Reproducibility of nonradioactive DDRT-PCR method for detection of gene expression in squamous epithelial carcinoma cells of the upper aerodigestive tract].

Laryngo- rhino- otologie, 1997
The analysis of the gene spectrum in tumor and normal cells may provide information about genes involved in the differentiation or in the genesis of tumors. Differential Display Reverse Transcriptase Polymerase Chain Reaction (DDRT-PCR) is an innovative method that enables quick analysis of almost all mRNA molecules expressed in the cells. In the trials,

To avoid the shortcomings of radioactive pollution and high rate of false positives in DDRT-PCR method, the technique have been modified by replacement of radioactive reagents with fluorescent reagents followed by confirming the results using reverse RNA dot blot.
