Modular Control of PEG‐Poly(2‐Oxazoline) Co‐Assembly Enables Tunable Aggregate Properties for Intraocular Pressure Management

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A thermo‐responsive poly(2‐oxazoline)‐based injectable formulation is developed to modulate intraocular pressure (IOP) in both normal and hypotonic eyes. By adjusting the PEG content, the aggregation behavior is finely tuned, enabling IOP elevation without long‐term deposition.

NxRepair: error correction in de novo sequence assembly using Nextera mate pairs [PDF]

open access: yesPeerJ, 2015
Scaffolding errors and incorrect repeat disambiguation during de novo assembly can result in large scale misassemblies in draft genomes. Nextera mate pair sequencing data provide additional information to resolve assembly ambiguities during scaffolding ...

Plant‐Produced Viral Nanoparticles Decorated with Nanobodies Against HER2 Improve Retention and Recruitment of Immune Cells in Solid Tumors

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Potato virus X is a filamentous RNA plant virus that can be engineered into a molecular tool for cancer therapy. We produced genetically‐encoded virus‐derived nanoparticles decorated with nanobodies targeting cancer cell receptors, epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and human epidermal growth factor 2 (HER2).

Solvent‐Free Thermal Defect Engineering in Molecular Frameworks With Volatile Linkers

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Thermal removal of neutral volatile linkers enables precise and solvent‐free generation of metal vacancies in MOFs. This strategy affords redox‐stable, coordinatively unsaturated FeII sites with tunable spin, ligand coordination, and catalytic behavior. The approach offers a general route to design defect‐functional materials through local coordination

Self‐Assembled Inorganic Nanomembrane Tubes: Rolled‐Up Piezoelectrics for Microacoustic Wave‐Based Actuators and Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates a self‐assembly process to generate free‐standing piezoelectric nanomembranes, forming ultracompact microtubular acoustic wave sensors and actuators. The miniaturized 3D piezoelectric platform reported in this work can be applied in telecommunication, energy harvesting, and acoustofluidics. Moreover, the 3D self‐assembly can add

Graphasing: phasing diploid genome assembly graphs with single-cell strand sequencing

open access: yesGenome Biology
Haplotype information is crucial for biomedical and population genetics research. However, current strategies to produce de novo haplotype-resolved assemblies often require either difficult-to-acquire parental data or an intermediate haplotype-collapsed ...
