Full Vectorial Field Sensing Using Liquid Crystal Droplet Arrays

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 38, Issue 39, 13 July 2026.
An inkjet‐printed liquid crystal droplet array enables compact, low‐cost, single‐shot sensing of the full vectorial light field. Within a single platform, it simultaneously retrieves intensity, polarization, and phase, while dual‐wavelength operation highlights its capability for multi‐wavelength optical field characterization. ABSTRACT Determining the

Optical Interventions for Myopia Control

open access: yesSiriraj Medical Journal
Pediatric myopia is a major public health challenge driven primarily by progressive axial elongation, which substantially increases the lifetime risk of vision-threatening complications, such as myopic macular degeneration.

Multiscale Microscopy via Automation: Dual Magnification Environmental Scanning Electron Microscopy Imaging by Frame Alternation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, Volume 11, Issue 13, 8 July 2026.
An automation interface for environmental scanning electron microscopy (ESEM) enables simultaneous, interlaced data sets via frame‐by‐frame parameter changes. Demonstrated on oscillatory hydrogen oxidation over cobalt (Co) foil, dual‐magnification imaging bridges mesoscopic to microscopic length scales, capturing alternating views of surface dynamics ...

Materials Informatics in Carbon Materials for Energy and Sustainability

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, Volume 7, Issue 7, July 2026.
Carbon materials are widely used in batteries, catalysis, and separation membranes, yet both their carbonization process and resulting disordered structures remain a dual black box that limits rational development. This Perspective highlights how materials informatics, combining literature mining, machine learning, atomistic simulations, image analysis,

Discovery and Structural Characterization of a Highly Protective Neutralizing Antibody Targeting the Mpox Virus A35R Protein

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 7, Issue 7, July 2026.
High‐affinity monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) targeting the MPXV EEV protein A35R were rapidly isolated using mRNA‐LNP vaccination and the Beacon single‐cell sorting Optofluidic platform, followed by functional profiling. One mAb, 17H1, potently neutralized authentic MPXV and conferred complete protection in vivo.

A new in silico model to precisely design focused ultrasound brain therapies

open access: yesMedical Physics, Volume 53, Issue 7, July 2026.
Abstract Background Focused ultrasound (FUS) combined with microbubbles enables transient and noninvasive blood–brain barrier (BBB) opening, facilitating targeted drug delivery. However, accurate treatment planning remains difficult due to inter‐patient anatomical variability and the common assumption in simulations that brain tissues behave like water.

Effectiveness of Defocus Incorporated Multiple Segments (DIMS) Lens in Slowing Myopia Progression among Malay Schoolchildren

open access: yesIIUM Medical Journal Malaysia
INTRODUCTION: Defocus Incorporated Multiple Segments (DIMS) lens imposes simultaneous myopic defocus for myopia control and has been proven to be effective in controlling myopia progression in children. However, the effectiveness of the DIMS lens may vary between different ethnicity due to different retinal profiles among children.
