Exploring Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices Regarding Dengue Fever Among University Students in Bangladesh: A Cross-Sectional Study. [PDF]
ABSTRACT Background and Aims Inadequate knowledge, attitudes and practices (KAPs) related to dengue fever (DF) can substantially affect vulnerable people, such as Bangladeshi university students, because of their living status. However, this topic has never been explored.

Novel Wide‐Spectrum Virucidal Lipid Nanoparticles
POSTAN is a novel broad‐spectrum antiviral nanoparticle that combines safety with potent virucidal activity. Composed of biocompatible lipids, it mimics heparan sulfate proteoglycans and lipid rafts exploited by viruses, thereby dismantling viral envelopes and blocking replication.

ABSTRACT Orthobornaviruses express X and the phosphoprotein (P) from a bicistronic X/P mRNA, and these proteins regulate polymerase activity. In mammalian orthobornaviruses, the 5′ untranslated region (5′ UTR) of the X/P mRNA controls the translational balance between X and P and thereby promotes efficient replication.

ABSTRACT HEV causes chronic infections that are detrimental to immunocompromised patients. Previous studies showed alterations of γδ T cell subsets at the acute phase of HEV infection. To assess a possible role of CMV, we have examined the frequencies and responses to CMV and HEV of blood γδ T cell subsets from control donors and acute‐phase HEV ...

Genetic engineering for SIT application: a fruit fly‐focused review
Abstract Sterile insect technique (SIT) has become a key component of efficient pest control. Fruit fly pests from the Drosophilidae and Tephritidae families pose a substantial and overwhelmingly increasing threat to the agricultural industry, aggravated by climate change and globalization among other contributors.
