PARP inhibition and pharmacological ascorbate demonstrate synergy in castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Fabrication of Polyethersulfone-Based Symmetric Membrane by Applying Pause Stage in Coagulation [PDF]

open access: yesعلوم و تکنولوژی پلیمر, 2015
Phase inversion is a common method for preparation of polymeric membranes. It is noticeable that most of the membranes prepared by this method have an asymmetrical structure.

The Structure Stability of Metal Diffusion Membrane-Filters in the Processes of Hydrogen Absorption/Desorption

open access: yesMembranes, 2022
The evolution of a nanostructured state of palladium—lead membrane alloys during their interaction with hydrogen was studied using precision X-ray diffraction with synchrotron radiation (SR) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) with energy-dispersive X-

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

Research of Fuzzy Control Method for Multi-parameter in Dense-medium Separation Process

open access: yesGong-kuang zidonghua, 2012
In order to solve problem of poor control effect of artificial or PID method because of coupling of three parameters including suspension density, content of magnetic medium and liquid level in dense-medium separation process, the paper proposed a fuzzy ...

Fluidization expansion of novel generation dense medium and flow regime transition in gas-solid separation fluidized bed

open access: yesFundamental Research
Gas-solid separation fluidized beds are important for coal cleaning through the removal of ash-forming impurities. Homogeneous fluidization is considered as an ideal separation method because it results in fewer pressure fluctuations and smaller bubbles.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Density control method for dense-medium suspension based on fuzzy control

open access: yesGong-kuang zidonghua, 2018
In view of problems of poor accuracy and universality of existing density fuzzy control methods for dense-medium suspension, a density control method for dense-medium suspension based on fuzzy control was proposed.
