Antiperspirants and deodorizers

Clinics in Dermatology, 1988
Abstract Man has two distinct types of sweat gland, the eccrine gland and the apocrine gland. These glands have different ontogenies (the apocrine gland is derived from the external root sheath of the hair follicle, and the eccrine gland arises from the interfollicular epidermis) and have evolved different functions and distributions.

Deodorization, principles and practices

Journal of the American Oil Chemists' Society, 1967
