A Deoxyribonuclease from Rabbit Leucocytes.
SummaryRabbit leucocytes from sterile peritoneal exudates contain a potent acid DNase. By differential sonification and cellulose column chromatography this enzyme has been purified 140-fold. The properties of the enzyme are discussed and the similarity to and differences from previously described DNases are mentioned.

New therapy of pleural empyema by deoxyribonuclease
Empyema is a severe complication of different diseases and traumas. Management of this complication is difficult and should comprise general and local procedures. The general procedure is mainly based on administering wide-spectrum antibiotics. Local management depends on patient general condition, but in all cases the essential procedure is to insert ...

Bovine Pancreatic Deoxyribonuclease D
Abstract Of the four deoxyribonucleases, DNases A, B, C, and D, observable by chromatography of preparations of the pancreatic enzyme on cellulose phosphate, DNase D, the component present in the smallest amount, has not been previously characterized. Peptide maps show that the sequence of the amino acid residues in the polypeptide chain of DNase D is ...
