Overcoming EGFR‐Mediated Dendritic Cell Dysfunction to Enhance Anti‐tumor Immunity in EGFR‐Mutant NSCLC by Precisely Targeting CD73 With pH‐responsive Nanocarriers

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 1, 5 January 2026.
EGFR mutations drive ERK/c‐Jun–mediated transcriptional activation of CD73, elevating adenosine levels and fostering an immunosuppressive TME by impairing DC maturation and CD8⁺ T cell priming. The pH‐responsive nanodrug F127ZIF‐8AB680 selectively inhibits CD73, normalizes adenosine metabolism, and re‐establishes effective anti‐tumor immunity ...

Neuroprotection and Axonal Regeneration via ECM‐Mimetic Nanofibers Incorporating Metal–Phenolic Network Nanoparticles Toward Spinal Cord Injury Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 1, 5 January 2026.
Metal–phenolic network (MPN) nanoparticles with neuroprotective functions are integrated into decellularized extracellular matrix (dECM) to obtain biomimetic composite fibrous scaffold MPN@dECM NFs by electrospinning, which protects spared neurons from secondary degeneration by suppressing excitotoxicity and inflammation, and promotes directional ...

Self‐Assembled Nanocomplexes of Oligomerized Catechins and Deoxyribonuclease‐I for Synergistically Enhancing Diabetic Wound Healing

open access: yesAggregate, Volume 7, Issue 1, January 2026.
This study develops a self‐assembled O/DNase‐I nanocomplex that eliminates neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) and blocks their formation, accelerates diabetic ulcers (DUs) healing in mice through the synergetic effect of DNase‐I and oligomerized epigallocatechin gallate (OEGCG).

A Deoxyribonuclease from Rabbit Leucocytes.

open access: yesExperimental Biology and Medicine, 1966
SummaryRabbit leucocytes from sterile peritoneal exudates contain a potent acid DNase. By differential sonification and cellulose column chromatography this enzyme has been purified 140-fold. The properties of the enzyme are discussed and the similarity to and differences from previously described DNases are mentioned.

Targeting neutrophil‐driven immunosuppression: A strategy to overcome immune checkpoint inhibitor resistance

open access: yesClinical and Translational Medicine, Volume 16, Issue 1, January 2026.
TANs drive ICI resistance via antitumour immune remodelling, angiogenesis promotion, and elevation of tumour mutation burden Neutrophil biomarkers (e.g., NLR, TAN abundance) show strong predictive value for ICI response and prognosis. Targeting TAN recruitment, polarization, function and NETosis represents a promising strategy to overcome ICI ...

Biochemical and Comparative Proteomic Analyses Delineate the Anti‐Ovarian Carcinogenic Roles of Modified Calycosin

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 14, Issue 1, January 2026.
The modified calycosin derivative H10 was more effective in inhibiting cell proliferation through G0/G1 cell cycle arrest, together with inhibiting the migration and colony formation abilities of ovarian cancer cell lines SKOV3 and A2780. Comparative proteomic analysis coupled with Ingenuity Pathway Analysis further delineated calycosin derivative H10 ...

Investigating the mechanism of aluminum resistance conferred by aluminum resistance protein 1

open access: yesProtein Science, Volume 35, Issue 1, January 2026.
Abstract Aluminum does not play any role in essential biological processes, but in acidic conditions it becomes biologically reactive and highly toxic even at low concentrations. Eukaryotes have developed numerous strategies for detoxification, one of which relies on membrane proteins.
