Desensitization With Imlifidase: Overcoming Immunological Barriers in Kidney Transplantation
Highly sensitized patients without compatible living donors face prolonged waiting times for a transplant. Prioritization and desensitization strategies often prove insufficient because of logistical challenges, extended treatments, and increased infection risk.

Botulinum Toxin for First Bite Syndrome: A Symptom‐Guided “Follow‐The‐Pain” Injection Strategy
ABSTRACT Background To evaluate botulinum toxin type A (BoNT‐A) for First Bite Syndrome (FBS) and assess a symptom‐guided “Follow‐the‐Pain” (FTP) injection strategy in patients with incomplete response to standard treatment. Methods Consecutive patients with postoperative FBS were treated with ultrasound‐guided intraparotid BoNT‐A injection.

Pregabalin Efficacy in Treatment of Chronic Neurogenic Cough
The use of neuromodulators for chronic cough has increased; however, the choice of medication, dosing regimen, and duration are still unclear. This longitudinal study of 95 adults taking pregabalin, 75 mg twice daily, for CNC demonstrated 78% improvement or resolution of cough, 17% unchanged, 1% worse cough, with a mean of 6 weeks of therapy, and only ...

Basic and clinical immunology – 3016. Successful desensitization to oxaliplatin for metastic colorectal carcinoma [PDF]
Method In this case a premedication protocol of dexamethasone 10 mg + diphenhydramine 50 mg + famotidine 20 mg by mouth were administered 13 hours, 6 hours and 1 hour respectively prior to the infusion of 40 mg of oxaliplatin in 1:10000, 1:1000, 1:100, 1:10 graded dilutions. Each dilution was infused over 1 hour under close telemetry monitoring.
