A Combined Desorption Ionization by Charge Exchange (DICE) and Desorption Electrospray Ionization (DESI) Source for Mass Spectrometry [PDF]
A source that couples the desorption ionization by charge exchange (DICE) and desorption electrospray ionization (DESI) techniques together was demonstrated to broaden the range of compounds that can be analyzed in a single mass spectrometric experiment under ambient conditions. A tee union was used to mix the spray reagents into a partially immiscible

Pyrochlore‐derived Bi–Sn interfaces enable selective CO2 electroreduction to HCOOH in strongly acidic media (pH = 1). Interfacial electronic coupling promotes *OCHO formation while suppressing hydrogen evolution. Cryptand‐driven cation regulation enriches interfacial K+, maintaining high HCOOH faradaic efficiency of 94% even at low K+ electrolyte ...

Atomically precise metal cluster enzymes for pathological tissue regeneration
Schematic illustration of atomically precise metal cluster enzymes (MCEs) for pathological tissue regeneration. Atomically precise MCEs can modulate biological processes, such as attenuation of inflammatory responses, eradication of bacterial pathogens, regulation of angiogenesis, and promotion of cell development.

Scalable catalyst production process for oleate hydratase whole‐cell biocatalysis
This study establishes a scalable lactose‐induced fed‐batch fermentation for an Escherichia coli whole‐cell biocatalyst containing an oleate hydratase. Operation at a higher growth rate markedly increased biomass yields while maintaining catalyst activity and was demonstrated at 150 L scale.
