Advancing Chronic Wound Healing through Electrical Stimulation and Adipose‐Derived Stem Cells
Chronic cutaneous wounds represent significant challenges due to delayed healing and resistance to conventional treatments. This review explores the potential of combining adipose‐derived stem cells with electrical stimulation to enhance wound healing.

A novel hydrogel (HLBP) incorporating natural polysaccharides from goji berries is developed to enhance diabetic bone defect healing. The hydrogel efficiently scavenges ROS, improves osteogenic differentiation, and promotes in vivo bone regeneration. This strategy offers a biocompatible and localized approach, overcoming the challenges of traditional ...

Skeletal Fragility in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus [PDF]
Type 2 diabetes (T2D) is associated with an increased risk of fracture, which has been reported in several epidemiological studies. However, bone mineral density in T2D is increased and underestimates the fracture risk.

A case study of glucose levels during sleep using fast function on scalar regression inference [PDF]
Continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) are increasingly used to measure blood glucose levels and provide information about the treatment and management of diabetes. Our motivating study contains CGM data during sleep for 174 study participants with type II diabetes mellitus measured at a 5-minute frequency for an average of 10 nights.

High glucose‐ and acid‐responsive hydrogel with dynamic covalent bond solubilized with flavonoids (Gel‐Flavonoids) is designed for diabetic wound healing. The Gel‐Flavonoids adapt to irregular wound shapes and release antioxidants in high‐glucose environments, effectively reducing reactive oxygen species.

Genes predisposing to type 1 diabetes mellitus and pathophysiology: a narrative review [PDF]
The possibility of targeting the causal genes along with the mechanisms of pathogenically complex diseases has led to numerous studies on the genetic etiology of some diseases. In particular, studies have added more genes to the list of type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) suspect genes, necessitating an update for the interest of all stakeholders ...

Periodontitis and type 2 diabetes among women with previous gestational diabetes: epidemiological and immunological aspects in a follow-up of three years [PDF]
Periodontitis can contribute to the development of insulin resistance. Gestational diabetes is a risk factor for type 2 diabetes. Therefore, periodontitis, when associated with gestational diabetes, could increase the risk for the development of type 2 ...

Accelerated Bone Healing via Electrical Stimulation
Electrical stimulation significantly impacts bone healing by enhancing osteoblast proliferation, differentiation, and vascularization through calmodulin/calcineurin/NFAT signaling. It also boosts macrophage function and cell migration, presenting a comprehensive approach to accelerating bone repair.

Ultrasound therapy of diabetes mellitus type 2
mary We studied the possibility of low-frequency UST in the correction of carbohydrate metabolism by assessing levels of fasting glucose and Cpeptide, as well as the content of the contrinsuline hormones (cortisol, samatotropin) in groups of diabetic ...
