Cuproptosis Inducers in Cancer Therapy: State of the Art and Challenges
Cuproptosis is emerging as a distinct copper‐dependent cell death pathway, highlighting copper as a potential metabolic vulnerability in cancer. This review examines how coordination chemistry, redox regulation, and nanomaterial design shape Cu reactivity and therapeutic outcomes.

Nutrients regulate diamine oxidase release from intestinal mucosa
Diamine oxidase is continuously released from the intestinal mucosa and carried to the circulation by the lymphatics. The effect of nutrients on this release was examined. Rats were prepared with duodenal and intestinal lymph cannulas.

Here, we describe new Cu(I)/Cu(II) complexes based on arylated tren ligands and investigate their reactivity toward O2 and peroxides. Low‐temperature–stopped flow studies revealed the formation of transient copper–oxygen species, including superoxido, hydroperoxido, and alkylperoxido intermediates.

Thermal dissection of lentil seedling amine oxidase domains by differential scanning calorimetry [PDF]
The relationships between the structural and energetic domains of lentil seedling amine oxidase (LSAO) were investigated using modifiers that target the active site and the carbohydrate moiety of the enzyme.

Inhibition of chickpea seedling copper amine oxidases by tetraethylenepentamine [PDF]
Copper amine oxidases are important enzymes, which contribute to the regulation of monoand polyamine levels. Each monomer contains one Cu(II) ion and 2,4,5-trihydroxyphenylalanine (TPQ) as cofactors.

Post-stroke inhibition of induced NADPH oxidase type 4 prevents oxidative stress and neurodegeneration [PDF]
Ischemic stroke is the second leading cause of death worldwide. Only one moderately effective therapy exists, albeit with contraindications that exclude 90% of the patients.

Plasma diamine oxidase activity in asthmatic children [PDF]
Histamine plays an important role in the development of asthmatic symptoms. Diamine oxidase (DAO histaminase), which inactivates histamine, is located in the intestine and kidney and is released into plasma.
