Copper-Catalyzed Oxyvinylation of Diazo Compounds [PDF]
A copper(I)-catalyzed vinylation of diazo compounds with vinylbenziodoxolone reagents (VBX) as partners is reported. The transformation tolerates diverse functionalities on both reagents delivering polyfunctionalized vinylated products. The strategy was successfully extended to a three-component/intermolecular version with alcohols.

Asymmetric formal C–C bond insertion into aldehydes via copper-catalyzed diyne cyclization
The formal C–C bond insertion into aldehydes is an attractive methodology for the assembly of homologated carbonyl compounds. However, the homologation of aldehydes has been limited to diazo approach and the enantioselective reaction was rarely developed.

Facile and diastereoselective arylation of the privileged 1,4-dihydroisoquinolin-3(2H)-one scaffold
A practically convenient and streamlined protocol for the trans-diastereoselective introduction of an aryl substituent at position 4 of the 1,4-dihydroisoquinol-3-one (1,4-DHIQ) scaffold is presented.
