Run or Die: A Didactique Case Report of a Rare Cause of Lactic Acidosis in Emergency Medicine. [PDF]

open access: yesCase Rep Emerg Med, 2020
Introduction. Acidosis with traumatic brain injury is a common and serious cause of consciousness disorders in emergency medicine. Extreme acidosis is significantly associated with high mortality (more than 67% if pH levels are under 7). Case Presentation.

The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index: Reliability, Factor Structure, and Related Clinical Factors among Children, Adolescents, and Young Adults with Chronic Pain. [PDF]

open access: yesSleep Disord, 2021
This study is aimed at assessing the psychometric properties and the factorial structure of the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) in a clinical sample of children, adolescents, and young adults with chronic pain. Data of 482 participants (aged 8‐21 years) from two crosssectional studies and a chronic pain services outpatient clinic were analyzed ...

“Conducted Properly, Published Incorrectly”: The Evolving Status of Gel Electrophoresis Images Along Instrumental Transformations in Times of Reproducibility Crisis

open access: yesBerichte zur Wissenschaftsgeschichte, Volume 46, Issue 2-3, Page 233-258, September 2023., 2023
Abstract For the last ten years, within molecular life sciences, the reproducibility crisis discourse has been embodied as a crisis of trust in scientific images. Beyond the contentious perception of “questionable research practices” associated with a digital turn in the production of images, this paper highlights the transformations of gel ...

The correlates of flow in the L2 classroom: Linking basic L2 task features to learner flow experiences

open access: yesThe Modern Language Journal, Volume 107, Issue 3, Page 650-668, Autumn (Fall) 2023., 2023
Abstract Flow is an intrinsic motivational state associated with full task engagement, positive affect, and enhanced performance. While research has examined how different language tasks interact with flow experiences, no study has examined learner flow experiences in a wide range of tasks using an experience sampling method to determine how universal ...

Theoretical and Numerical Study for Volterra−Fredholm Fractional Integro‐Differential Equations Based on Chebyshev Polynomials of the Third Kind

open access: yesComplexity, Volume 2023, Issue 1, 2023., 2023
In this paper, we develop an efficient numerical method to approximate the solution of fractional integro‐differential equations (FI‐DEs) of mixed Volterra−Fredholm type using spectral collocation method with shifted Chebyshev polynomials of the third kind (S‐Cheb‐3). The fractional derivative is described in the Caputo sense.

Quelle place accordée à l’évolution dans les programmes des sciences de la vie et de la terre – cas de l’enseignement secondaire marocain- Analyse historico - épistémologique et didactique.

open access: yesMoroccan Journal of Quantitative and Qualitative Research, 2022
« L’évolution » est considérée depuis longtemps comme étant le paradigme de base de la Biologie. D’une autre façon, la biologie ne peut se comprendre qu’à la lumière de l’évolution. Aussi, il est impossible, nous parait-t-il, que l’enseignement du savoir

Highly Efficacious Sixth‐Order Compact Approach with Nonclassical Boundary Specifications for the Heat Equation

open access: yesMathematical Problems in Engineering, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
This paper suggests an accurate numerical method based on a sixth‐order compact difference scheme and explicit fourth‐order Runge–Kutta approach for the heat equation with nonclassical boundary conditions (NCBC). According to this approach, the partial differential equation which represents the heat equation is transformed into several ordinary ...

Spectral Collocation Method for Handling Integral and Integrodifferential Equations of n‐th Order via Certain Combinations of Shifted Legendre Polynomials

open access: yesMathematical Problems in Engineering, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
In this study, an accurate and efficient numerical method based on spectral collocation is presented to solve integral equations and integrodifferential equations of n‐th order. The method is developed using compact combinations of shifted Legendre polynomials as a spectral basis and shifted Legendre–Gauss–Lobatto nodes as collocation points to ...

« Didactique »?

open access: yesDidactique, 2020
A travers une analyse historique, le texte vise à déterminer les différentes significations du mot « didactique ». Dans le long cours, le didactique est défini comme un rapport entre trois termes – savoir, élèves, enseignants - qui constituent le cœur de la forme école.
