Comparative Study of Microwave and Ultrasound‐Assisted Extraction of Phosvitin From Egg Yolk
Microwave‐assisted extraction produced phosvitin with greater purity and recovery compared to ultrasound‐based methods. An increase in microwave power and processing time was positively correlated with both phosvitin purity and HDL removal efficiency, as confirmed by FT‐IR analysis and SDS‐PAGE electrophoresis profiles.

Exercise and dietary polyphenols enhance hippocampal plasticity and cognitive function via complementary molecular mechanisms. Central pathways include BDNF signaling, inflammation control, and mitochondrial regulation. Although synergy is mainly supported by preclinical data, lifestyle‐based strategies show promise for brain health maintenance ...

Whey protein (WP) alleviates high‐fat diet (HFD)‐induced nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) through a tripartite mechanism targeting the gut‐liver axis. (1) Gut Microbiota Modulation: WP restores intestinal flora homeostasis by enriching beneficial taxa (e.g., Lactobacillus) and increasing the production of short‐chain fatty acids (SCFAs).

Prostaglandin D2 Synthase Controls Schwann Cells Metabolism and Peripheral Myelin Homeostasis
Prostaglandin D2 Synthase (L‐PGDS) controls PPNS myelin lipids’ composition and Schwann cells energetic metabolism In the absence of L‐PGDS Schwann cells turn to acetate as the main energetic source. These metabolic changes result in ketone bodies production to preserve neuronal survival.

ABSTRACT Background The dietary inflammatory index (DII) score quantifies the inflammatory potential of an individual's diet and may be associated with cardiovascular–kidney–metabolic syndrome (CKM) and mortality risk. However, evidence on the relationship between DII and intermediate‐to‐high‐risk cardiovascular–kidney–metabolic syndrome (IH–CKM) is ...
