D-branes on AdS flux compactifications [PDF]
We study D-branes in N=1 flux compactifications to AdS_4. We derive their supersymmetry conditions and express them in terms of background generalized calibrations.

Real-time trajectory generation for differentially flat systems [PDF]
Two algorithms for real-time trajectory generation for differentially flat systems with unstable zero dynamics are described. One is based on a receding horizon point to point steering, the other allows additional minimization of a cost function. The two-degree-of-freedom approach is used: real-time trajectory generation followed by local stabilization.

Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

In-domain control of a heat equation: an approach combining zero-dynamics inverse and differential flatness [PDF]
This paper addresses the set-point control problem of a heat equation with in-domain actuation. The proposed scheme is based on the framework of zero dynamics inverse combined with flat system control.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Brane-World Cosmology, Bulk Scalars and Perturbations [PDF]
We investigate aspects of cosmology in brane world theories with a bulk scalar field. We concentrate on a recent model motivated from supergravity in singular spaces.
