Cold Quad‐Modal Nanocomplex for Precise and Quantitative In Vivo Stem Cell Tracking
Multimodal albumin–bismuth sulfide–superparamagnetic iron oxide (ABS) nanocomplexes are developed for stem cell tracking across four different imaging modalities: MRI, MPI, MSOT, and CT. Combining its flexibility with high sensitivity, this quad‐modal imaging agent enables a robust quantification of ABS‐labeled stem cells in vivo.

Digestible tryptophan requirements for broilers from 22 to 42 days old
The objective of this experiment was to establish different criteria to evaluate the requirements of digestible tryptophan for broilers from 22 to 42 d of age, using different regression models (quadratic, exponential and Linear Response Plateau) and in ...

Small Grain Forage Trial Nitrogen Fertility and Harvest Date [PDF]
Cool season annual forages, such as cereal grains, can provide early season grazing as well as high quality stored feed. However, it is unclear if quality and yield of these forages could be improved through better fertility management.

Processes are being developed to exploit proteins from the residue of rapeseed oil extraction. Two main fractions of proteins can be purified: cruciferin and napin. The present work was carried out to characterize the nutritional quality of these fractions, while exploring the effect of the extraction conditions (neutral or acid), and that of the post ...

A self‐gelling PG@PAC (POD/Gel‐CDH@PA/CHX) powder is developed for infected burn care in austere settings. Upon contact with wound exudate, it instantly forms an adhesive hydrogel, providing simultaneous hemostasis, broad‐spectrum antibacterial activity, reactive oxygen species scavenging, and immunomodulation. In a murine model of S.

From Food to Power: Hydrogel Thermoelectrics for Ingestible Electronics
We introduce a fully edible thermoelectric–electrochromic platform that harvests heat from food and converts it into a visible color change. N‐type and p‐type hydrogel thermoelectric generators connected in series power anthocyanin‐based electrochromic displays, demonstrating the feasibility of safe, biodegradable, ingestible systems for on‐food ...

Phase feeding for growing and finishing pigs (OK-Net Ecofeed Practice Abstract) [PDF]
Benefits Phase feeding will more closely match the pig’s nutrient requirements and minimise the over- and underfeeding of nutrients. The feed will be better utilised by the pigs, in favour of both production economy and reduced N-emissions.

Tissue Engineered Human Elastic Cartilage From Primary Auricular Chondrocytes for Ear Reconstruction
Despite over three decades of research, no tissue‐engineered solution for auricular reconstruction in microtia patients has reached clinical translation. The key challenge lies in generating functional elastic cartilage ex vivo. Here, we integrate synergistic cell‐biomaterial strategies to engineer auricular grafts with mechanical and histological ...
