Advances in γδ T Cells: Cutaneous Biology and Therapeutic Potential for Skin Neoplasms
ABSTRACT γδ T cells represent an increasingly important subset of T lymphocytes in the immune response to cancer and as a platform for novel immunotherapies. The aim of this review is to synthesize recent insights into the biology and advances in therapeutic applications of γδ T cells in cutaneous malignancies, especially melanoma, within a framework ...

We performed 16S rDNA sequencing and metabolite profiling for three sympatric lizard species—Teratoscincus roborowskii, Phrynocephalus axillaris, and Eremias roborowskii—and compared their goblet cell and enzyme activities in the digestive tract. Our study suggests that the dietary niche may promote divergence or convergence of microbiota across host ...

Metabolome Diversity Enhances Resistance of Intertidal Clams to Thermal Stress
Meretrix species are widely distributed intertidal bivalves in China with significant ecological and economic importance, which are sensitive to thermal stress. Our results showed that thermal environments of clam habitats shaped metabolome diversity, which can enhance the resistance of intertidal clams to thermal stress.

Mitochondrial fatty acid enzyme, CPT1A, is deficient in the airway epithelium of severe asthma patients. Restoration of CPT1A expression improved epithelial barrier integrity via increasing mitochondrial respiration and ATP production in airway epithelial cells. Restoration of deficient epithelial CPT1A may represent a new treatment approach for severe

Dietary Habits and Atopic Dermatitis Significantly Influence the Fecal Microbiome
Atopic dermatitis, dietary habits, sex, and BMI significantly influenced the fecal microbiome composition. On the species level, Faecalibacterium taiwanense was more abundant in atopic dermatitis, and Vescimonas sp000435555 was more abundant in the control population. On the genus level, CAG‐302 (NCBI: Clostridium) was more abundant in controls.
