(Chemical Equation Presented) A block copolymer with diselenide bonds in the polymer backbone was reported. This block copolymer was capable of forming micellar aggregates that were responsive to redox stimuli.

The solubilization of diphenyl diselenide in surfactant solutions
Solubilization of diphenyl diselenide (DPDS) was studied in CTAB, OPE-10 and SDS surfactant solutions at 298 K. Solubility of DPDS increases with increase in the surfactant concentration due to its solubilization in micelles.
