An Approach for Improvement of the Dissolution Rate of Gliclazide
Gliclazide is an anti-diabetic drug that is poorly soluble in water. This paper describes an approach to improve the dissolution rate of gliclazide by using solid dispersions (SDs) in polyethylene glycol 4000 (PEG 4000). The phase-solubility behavior of gliclazide in the presence of various concentrations of PEG 4000 in 0.1 N HCl at 37 °C was obtained.

Improvement of Dissolution in the SOLIDprep Sampler by Ultrasonics
Abstract This paper describes a novel device which is capable of disintegrating and homogenizing tablets within a very short time and with a minimum of investment. The modification on the existing SOLIDprep Sampler I can be performed in-house. An increase of assay efficiency of at least 50% was observed when these modifications were made.

As-cast Mg–Sn alloys (3, 6, and 9 wt% Sn) were solution treated at 653, 703 and 753 K (380, 430 and 480 °C) for 1, 4, 8, 12 and 24 h to determine the variation of secondary phase with respect to Sn content, temperature and time.
