Stability of Discrete-Time Neutral Systems with Discrete and Distributed Delays: A Delay Decomposition Approach

open access: yesMathematics
A stability analysis of linear discrete-time neutral systems with both discrete and distributed delays is examined. To address this problem with accuracy, Lyapunov–Krasovskii candidates (LKCs) are formulated by heterogeneously splitting the whole delay ...

Multi-delay complexity collapse

open access: yesPhysical Review Research, 2020
Increasing the number of delays in nonlinear dynamical systems is generally assumed to lead to higher complexity, but “distributed delay” systems with an infinite number of delays to lesser complexity.

Adaptive Synchronization of Reaction Diffusion Neural Networks With Infinite Distributed Delays and Stochastic Disturbance

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
In this paper, the diffusion effect, distributed delays and stochastic disturbance are involved in constructing the model of neural networks. Then, the global exponential synchronization problem is investigated for a class of reaction diffusion neural ...

Therapeutic Apheresis for Intravenous Methylprednisolone‐Refractory Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder: Clinical and Radiological Outcomes in a Single‐Center Case Series

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) is a relapsing autoimmune disease of the central nervous system. High‐dose intravenous methylprednisolone (IVMP) is the standard first‐line therapy for acute attacks, although some patients remain refractory.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Solution to DC Optimal Power Flow Problems with Demand Response via Distributed Asynchronous Primal-Dual Algorithms

open access: yesSICE Journal of Control, Measurement, and System Integration, 2020
As distributed energy resources increase, distributed optimization for power system operation and demand response (DR) have been intensively investigated in recent years. This paper presents a distributed solution for a DC optimal power flow problem with

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

Restrictions and Stability of Time-Delayed Dynamical Networks

open access: yes, 2012
This paper deals with the global stability of time-delayed dynamical networks. We show that for a time-delayed dynamical network with non-distributed delays the network and the corresponding non-delayed network are both either globally stable or unstable.
