In this paper, a new control scheme, called as additive-decomposition-based tracking control, is proposed to solve the output feedback tracking problem for a class of systems with measurable nonlinearities and unknown disturbances.

Emerging evidence suggests that intraneuronal Aβ accumulation represents an early pathogenic event in Alzheimer's disease (AD). Using Drosophila AD model, this study shows that a nonsecreted serine protease Yip7 physically interacts with Aβ. This causes intraneuronal Aβ accumulation but surprisingly reduces the associated neurotoxicity, arguing that ...

AI‐Enhanced Vibrational Capsule for Minimally Invasive Detection of Abnormal Bowel Tissue
A fully integrated vibration‐assisted capsule is presented for the minimally invasive detection of bowel lesions. The capsule incorporates a wireless sensor and an eccentric motor to probe tissue mechanics in situ. By coupling triaxial vibration signals with AI‐based classification and analytical modeling, the system enables early, non‐visual ...

Iterative Nonlinear Control of a Semibatch Reactor. Stability Analysis [PDF]
This paper presents the application of Iterative Nonlinear Model Predictive Control, INMPC, to a semibatch chemical reactor. The proposed control approach is derived from a model-based predictive control formulation which takes advantage of the ...

Bone Organoids: A Novel Tool for Modeling and Managing Skeletal Disorders in Diabetes
This review synthesizes advances in bone organoid engineering and evaluates their potential to model diabetic bone fragility. Current in vitro and animal models do not fully recapitulate diabetes‐associated skeletal phenotypes. Cell‐based and scaffold‐based bone organoids are discussed as complementary approaches to reconstruct multicellular bone ...

Attenuation of Persistent L∞-Bounded Disturbances for Nonlinear Systems [PDF]
A version of nonlinear generalization of the L1-control problem, which deals with the attenuation of persistent bounded disturbances in L∞-sense, is investigated in this paper. The methods used in this paper are motivated by [23]. The main idea in the L1-

Active Disturbance Rejection Control
This open access text offers the first comprehensive introduction to the fundamental principles and practical implementation of Active Disturbance Rejection Control (ADRC). Drawing on their years of experience in both research and industry, the authors have designed the text to be accessible to readers at any level of knowledge and experience with ADRC.

This study combines full‐field tomography with diffraction mapping to quantify radial (ε002$\varepsilon _{002}$) and axial (ε100$\varepsilon _{100}$) lattice strain in wrinkled carbon‐fiber specimens for the first time. Radial microstrain gradients (−14.5 µεMPa$\varepsilon \mathrm{MPa}$−1) are found to signal damage‐prone zones ahead of failure, which ...

We studied how five common immunosuppressants behave when delivered directly to a transplant site instead of systemically. Using a vascularized implant for islet transplantation, we show that local delivery protects grafts, limits drug spread to the rest of the body, and produces distinct immune signatures.
